So Momma decided to make some homemade Hot Cocoa mix for this kiddo. Which is very good by the way.
But I think she made enough for the neighborhood!!! Does anyone need any....

Tonight got a little wild and crazy at home. I think Neena Honey (my mom) must have fed the kids sugar all day long! We tried playing T's new game Headbands but that turned into Karaoke Headbands. Memories.....

Oh boy, it's always some kind of exciting when grandparents are around. We don't mean to laugh at them, so we tell them that we are just laughing with them NOT AT THEM!!

Tonight, I placed a votive wax warmer in the freezer to freeze the wax. (Hint: women friends when you do this it makes the wax a lot easier to just pop out without a mess.) Well, I soon forgot that I had placed the warmer in the freezer. So, a few hours later I went to get some ice out of the freezer I noticed my warmer was still in the freezer. So....as I grabbed it I noticed that the wax must have fallen out of the holder somewhere in the freezer. Well, I search and search in the freezer, but was not very successful at find the purple wax that I know was in the warmer when I placed it in the freezer.

I then asked other family members if they noticed any hard wax that was in the freezer....No, no one had any idea what I was talking about, especially Papa (my dad). So Jackson approaches him in the living room to explain the wax issue....he's still clueless. As Jackson is explaining, he looks over at Papa's cup of water and notices a big, round, clump of purple wax in his cup. We are laughing SO HARD to even explain any of it to my dad, HE'S very clueless at this time.

Maybe this is one of those stories that you just had to be there to experience the laughter. But, boy did we get a good laugh out of this one. Especially, when Tristan then asked "Papa, are you color blind"?

So, here's my dad's cup.......Would you notice this in your cup???

We still love you dad even when we do laugh at you!!!

Christmas Eve night for us is always spent at the Rincon First Baptist Church at the Candlelight Service. It is our tradition. We try to keep the REASON in the SEASON!

It is a short church service, communion as a family, lighting of the unity candles, then passing on the light from candle to candle, so it lights up the whole sanctuary. As we hold our lighted candles up high to the Lord, the whole sanctuary sings 'Silent Night'. It is beautiful!

and God continues to work on his heart everyday.......

Last Sunday, Jose was approached by our Sunday School teacher, Mr. Steve, and was asked if he would be willing to teach our class this Sunday (which would be today). Jose, accepted the study guide with grace, but deep down wasn't quite sure if he was ready to take on this task. He prayed about it for several days and finally decided that he must have been asked for a reason. After having a very "TESTING" week, he began reading the study guide and studying the word.

Well if you are a Christian, you know how God works. He put Jose in charge of this lesson for a reason. It was awesome. It really made Jose realize, even in our most "TESTING" weeks, that we are to continue to be obedient to God and put all of our Trust in him. A lot of times it is hard to do, but as a Christian it is something we must do!

I was very proud of him! I thought he did a great job, teaching Sunday School for the first time! So here is Jose, before leaving for Church, he took a few minutes more to study the word and take some extra notes!

WE have the best Sunday School Class. We enjoy each and every person in it so much. Tonight we had our Annual Spence Christmas Party. To change it up a bit we decided on making it a Tacky Christmas Sweater Party. It was TOO funny! WE had a good time.

LIGHT THE NIGHT FOR ASHLEY!

What a great community we live in. You could feel the LOVE and GODS presence in our neighborhood last night!

Some wonderful women in our neighborhood planned and organized a Golf Cart Parade, and dinner to raise money for some of our neighbors. The mom of the family was diagnosed with breast cancer a few months back and it has since then spread to her brain. The husband, is of course, home from work, to take care of his lovely wife. So to express our Love and Care for our neighbors we participated in this Grand Event. After such a GREAT turn out, our community discussed doing such a great deed every Christmas season and either giving the money raised to a charity or to a needy family in the area.

Zoe decided to use my living room area right as her toilet in the middle of the night. So today, I had to go purchase a new one. And I am happy with my results!

As we approach the Christmas holiday we get so carried away in the hussle and bussle of getting prepared,  we tend to forget the reason for the season.

If you haven't seen The Journey at Savannah Christian Church in Savannah Ga, you should  really take the time to go see it!  We love to go to get a refresher course!

Please remember the reason for the season.  Our Lord and Savior  was born to die for our sins.

Zoe just isn't doing her job like she should this litter. This here is T-Bo (yes I've named him after one of my heroes), he has really grown on me. We are nursing him and hopefully he's on the right road now! He will be living with forever ( if I can convince J)!!

Well last night we lost our little guy that we had been nursing. It really caught us off guard, seeing how we have never lost a puppy from any of our litters! So we just have to say RIP lil guy, you were a sweet one who was winning my heart!

Having to nurse a sweet baby back to health. The little runt of the litter is not eating as much as he should. But this sweet boy loves the bottle!!
