Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

15 years!

WOW, where has the time gone?

As we approach April 25th, my mind does nothing but wander and think back to what we were doing on these days, 15 years ago. I, myself, was a nervous wreck. Barely eating (because of nerves), but more Excited about our new adventures that lie ahead.

15 years ago, I married my Best Friend, my Hero, my True Love and my Everlasting Partner. We were so young and innocent and saw nothing but hearts in our eyes. People said it wasn't going to be easy, but when you are so in love you don't think anything could ever go wrong. Well they were all right, in some ways.....it hasn't been easy.

Our marriage HASN'T been a bed of roses, an everyday full of paradise, a day without an argument, nor a good romance novel. Our marriage is a full time job, that has to be worked on everyday.

BUT......
Our marriage is US! We have had our hard days, our wonderful days, our ups, our downs, our laughter and our tears, but we are in it together until the end. Never a regret has been felt for our decisions and commitment that we made 15 years ago. Our love has done nothing but grow.....grow in strength, in love, in commitment, in friendship, and  most importantly in FAITH. We say that whatever God brings us to, He will bring us through....as a married couple!

I couldn't be more happier with the way our life is today. We have  handed our lives and our marriage over to God and let Him have full control of everything. Yes, we still have our battles, but with God as our referee we will overcome anything. The last 15 year's have been a true Blessing! I wouldn't go back and change anything. Every battle, every tear, every laugh, every prayer, every hug and every kiss has brought us to where we are today. IN LOVE!

I can't wait to see what the future holds for us as a Loving Married Couple. Growing old with my Best Friend is going to be fun, because we are going to make it fun.

Jose Ramirez I love you more than you will ever know. You are the Love of My Life....forever and always. I'm so proud of you and the Godly person you have become. You are my rock! You complete me! Thank you!

Big Nasty Mud Run

I have  hit another accomplishment that I am proud of! I ran in my first Big Nasty Mud Run this past weekend.

It was a 4.1 mile, muddy run that contained 26 obstacles. My partner and I, Rebecca, finished the race in 1:15, which we were very happy about!

I have been running, usually not more than 3 miles, for about 2 years now. I love it. It relaxes me, and makes me feel very accomplished. Not only have I been running, but I also have been doing Crossfit. Crossfit is a very intense core strengthening and conditioning workout. I have been doing this for about 8 months now. Which I have to say.....Crossfit has changed my life. I love love love it! With these two different types of training mechanisms I was physically prepared for this race. And it felt great!

Needless to say I'm very proud of myself and my partner for completing this race. And coming in 6th place in the all woman partner groups!!!
         AND YES I'M BRAGGING!!

Easter 2013

He is Alive.....Thank you God!

We are Blessed beyond measures, between family, friends and our church family, and we are so Thankful. Each loves us for who we are! This Easter we started our morning out with a wonderful church service at FBC Rincon. Then proceeded to our church families house for lunch. Kids got to fish, run and play, hunt eggs and enjoy the beautiful day.

Thank you Lord for a great day. We are so happy to have you in our hearts and lives. No we aren't perfect people, but your unconditional love and grace purifies us daily. Thank you for being rejected, suffering and dieing on the cross for our sins. What an amazing gift!

Happy Easter to all and God Bless!
