Let the Season begin...

To start the Christmas Season off in Savannah the city tries to make it a Winter Wonderland. They close off Broughton Street to traffic, have booths set up, create a ice skating rink in the middle of the road, and best off all the fill one of the parks with snow! It is such a BLAST for the kids. We have been the last couple of years and the snow is their favorite part! This year we got to go down there with my sister and her kids! All the kids together was a very exhausting day, but a GREAT DAY!

Of course we wished our cousins and family all lived closer, but man when they visit we have such a good time! I hope everyone has a great month preparing for the Wonderful Holiday Season!

Thanksgiving 2009

Thanksgiving is my favorite Holiday of the year! Not only for the wonderful food....but for the fun times with family and friends! This year we were having both of our families to our house for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, as a result of last minute work arrangements, the Ramirez's couldn't make it (maybe next year)! My parents and my sister came into town and we celebrated Thanksgiving together. We had a really good time. Jose fried his "famous/delicious" turkey and we (well Mama) made all the fixens to go with it.

It has been a while since us "The Jackson's" took family pictures together, so we attempted it before eating that day. It was hard for us to stop acting silly for a minute and get a good picture, but we finally managed and got a good one!

For some very odd reason I didn't get a picture of me and my family together on Thanksgiving Day. That is very crazy of me, because I am usually all about some pictures! We had a great day anyway and hope you did too.

Day of Hunting

Okay so it's been awhile..........sorry!

Hunting season has begun (obviously a few months back)! Jose and Jackson love to go hunting and spend quiet time in the woods together. Well, Jose finally convinced our prissy little girl to get dressed up in the camo and go hunting with them! They spent ALL DAY in the woods! The left at 6 am and didn't return until 8 pm at night! It was a great experience for them all. Tristan really seemed to enjoy, actually more than wiggle worm Jackson does! To bad I had to work and couldn't experience it with them! I took a few picture of the hunters when they returned home.
